Travelling to EGSW
air

GENEVA AIRPORT
Geneva Airport is extremely well connected from most UK, European cities, and worldwide destinations and its flights are the most competitively priced.
If you are travelling from outside France, we recommend touching down in Geneva as you’ll be able to to catch one of our EGSW Transfers to take you directly to the resort… in good company!
EGSW Geneva Airport Coach Transfers
EGSW will be organising private bus transfers from Geneva airport directly to our host villages of Arc 1950 & 2000. These transfers can be arranged when you make your booking, under the options section.
Arrival Tranfer to Les Arcs
We’re operating seven transfers for guests which take you directly to your relevant host village. They leave on the hour from 12:00 through to 18:00.
The transfer normally takes just under 3 hours (depending on traffic). If you arrive earlier than the allocated departure time of your transfer you may be able to take an earlier bus if there’s space. Enquire about this at the EGSW welcome desk at the airport.
Please ensure that you allow sufficient time to catch your transfer. We recommend you allow no less than 45 – 60 minutes from your flight’s arrival time to the departure time of your coach.
In the last couple of years there have been flight delays due to weather and security issues. As a result we have changed the way the transfers work with hourly departures from Geneva. To ensure that should there be delays everybody gets away as promptly as possible, we’re reserving the right to allocate coach seats on a first come first serve basis.
Departure Transfer to Geneva Airport
We have two return transfers available for guests on the Saturday.
One at 10:00 and the other leaving at 15:30.
When returning to Geneva on the 10:00 transfer we recommend you booking a flight where your check-in closes after 2pm and for the 15:30 transfer a check-in closing after 19.30.
European Gay Ski week does not accept any liability for missed flights if the transfer coach arrives late at Geneva airport.

Private Helicopter Transfers
Would you like it fast, convenient, comfortable, and straight to resort?
Why not flying then…? We have chosen Mont-Blanc Helicopters for safe and reliable transfers. Price and availability on request, contact us.
Grenoble, Chambery or Lyon Airports
We’d recommend using Alps2Alps when flying into the above airports, or when arriving in Geneva at times when an EGSW transfer isn’t possible. EGSW customers get a 5% discount using their service through this link below

road
Driving is always the simplest method of getting to the Alps and of course, offers the most freedom during your holiday.

Here are a few points to consider when driving to the resort:
- France’s ‘autoroutes’ are not too busy towards the end of March.
- The weather in March is normally fine for driving and the road up to the resort passable.
- You MUST bring snow chains or tires in preparation for mountain conditions.
- ViaMichelin is one of the few good websites for planning fuel consumption and toll budgeting.
Here are a few tips to consider when driving from the UK:
- Fares on ferries cost approximately 60€ each way for a car or minibus for up to 9 passengers.
- It’s an 8 hour drive from Calais to Les Arcs on the autoroutes.
- The tolls for one leg will cost approximately 60€.
- Avoiding the toll roads results in a journey time of 12hrs.
- If you take the early crossing and get to Calais by 7am you should arrive in Les Arcs at around 8pm.
Parking Your Car in Les Arcs

Arc 1950 is a entirely car-free village.
A paid underground car park, with direct access to the village residences allows you to keep your car out of the bad weather.
On Saturdays, reception staff meet you at the car park entrance to guide you and facilitate your arrival.

ARC 2000 offers two underground car parks “Lac des Combes" and “Mont-Blanc", and outdoor car parks P2, P3 and P4. All are paid car parks.
