About Us
European Gay Ski Week was born out of Man Mountain Festival first organised in 2007 in Solden, created by Kevin Millins, former director of world-famous London Gay night club Heaven and head of Pure Organisation.
Pure Organisation has been running clubs and events for 40 years in London, Paris and New York. It is the longest running gay promoter.
Now in its 14th year, the event is the biggest roaming queer winter sports and music festival packed with cabaret, comedy, parties from a selection of the best clubs and DJs from Europe and the world.
Over the years European Gay Ski Week has grown steadily and now gathers more than a thousand winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world. We are proud to welcome everyone from the LGBTQI+ community and their friends and family, mixing together a whole variety of people.

For many, skiing and snowboarding epitomises feelings of freedom and self-expression. For the LGBT community, these are sentiments not taken for granted and there is a huge demand for spaces that are guaranteed to be welcoming, inclusive and where LGBT people can relax, be themselves and just have fun.
European Gay Ski Week welcomes more than 1,000 LGBT people each year, from 49 different countries, providing the rare opportunity to not only enjoy queer-specific spaces from our on-mountain gay ski guiding groups to the après parties and nightclubs, but offering an LGBT-inclusive way to get outdoors, be active and enjoy winter sports in beautiful mountain settings.
